Welcome to Cortijo Rosario

We are Erik and Marcellus, the proud owners of Cortijo Rosario. We’ve been living here in this magical place since July 2024, along with our canine friends Tacky, Bob, and Leo.

After living in the Netherlands for many years, we decided to make our dream a reality: living and working in beautiful Andalusia. In search of peace, space, and an authentic lifestyle, we ended up at this special place in the mountains near Algámitas.

From the very first moment, we fell in love with the area. The vast olive groves, the stunning natural scenery, the friendly locals, and the laid-back pace of life left a deep impression on us.

Sharing a home

To us, Cortijo Rosario is much more than just a place to stay. It’s our home. A place where people come together, relax, enjoy themselves, and make new memories.

We believe it’s important for our guests to feel welcome right away. That’s why personal attention, hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere are at the heart of everything we do.

We love introducing our guests to the Andalusia that we ourselves cherish so much. Not just the well-known highlights like Seville and Ronda, but also the hidden gems, local traditions, authentic cuisine, and the tranquility of the countryside.
